Simple Breath-work Exercises to Try


1️⃣ Box Breathing (Great for calming anxiety)

  • Inhale for 4 seconds

  • Hold for 4 seconds

  • Exhale for 4 seconds

  • Hold for 4 seconds

  • Repeat for a few minutes


2️⃣ Alternate Nostril Breathing (Balances the nervous system)

  • Use your thumb to close one nostril, inhale deeply through the other

  • Switch nostrils and exhale

  • Repeat for a few minutes
